About

Our Story

Tobin, Akbar, and Joseph were three students who had gone to the UK for higher studies. While they were there, they realized that there were lot of ways the education system in India could be improved. They were determined to help their fellow students back home by providing them with better opportunities and guidance to make informed decisions about their future.

With this goal in mind, they founded a startup called Career Thinks. The startup aimed to tackle all the problems in the education sector that they had identified. They started by using psychometric tests to help students determine their interests and innate abilities. Based on the results, the startup would determine the ideal industry and job profile for the student to move towards.

However, at a later stage, Joseph decided to follow a different career path and joined Deloitte in the UK. Despite this, he continued to be a well-wisher of Career Thinks and kept the team posted on real-time updates on the UK career scene.

The psychometric tests that Career Thinks used were designed to consider multiple factors such as the student’s brain structure, interests, existing educational qualifications, and current market conditions. Once the test results were obtained, the startup would provide students with multiple career options to choose from.

Career Thinks recognized that many students did not have enough information about the courses available or the application process. The startup provided a comprehensive list of courses available in various colleges and universities and guided students through the application process, ensuring that the documentation was hassle-free.

Furthermore, Career Thinks realized that the courses offered were mostly superficial and lacked in-depth knowledge. Therefore, the startup partnered with colleges and universities to provide students with high-quality education of international standards. They also helped students access loans and financial aid, which had previously been a significant obstacle.

The founders understood that accommodation was a major problem for students, and they decided to tackle this issue too. Career Thinks provided assistance in finding suitable accommodation for students in the vicinity of the educational institutions they had chosen.

Career Thinks also offers staffing and recruiting services to companies across the globe. The startup understands the hassle of finding a job in another country, especially when you have no connections or idea about the job market.

To address this problem, the startup offers a platform where students can upload their resumes and apply for various job positions abroad. Career Thinks conducts initial interviews, screening, and necessary documentation to ensure that the student is the right fit for the job and the company.

This service has been incredibly helpful for students who have always dreamed of working in countries like the UK, US, Canada, and Australia but never knew how to go about it. Now, with the help of Career Thinks, they can make their dreams a reality and get one step closer to achieving their career goals.

The startup also recognized the importance of exposure to new markets, different perspectives, and the need to learn new technologies, techniques, skillsets, and life skills. Career Thinks arranged for student exchange programs and internships with top companies to help students gain the necessary experience.

Through these initiatives, Career Thinks aimed to help students in India get access to quality education, guidance, and opportunities to build successful careers. The startup was not just providing a business solution but was also contributing to society by uplifting the education sector and empowering students to achieve their dreams.
